Tour Results, Schedules, and News:

A rare Friday start on the PGA Tour means that Monday we may have a new world number one player. Vijay Singh goes into the final round three shots ahead of Tiger Woods and they will play in the final group on Monday at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston. Singh has won the last eight tournaments where he has led going into the final round. Tiger has the opportunity to take charge and hold on to his long reign as number one in the world rankings, but he will have to go really low against the current best player in the world.

Craig Stadler shot 66 on Sunday to out-duel Jay Haas at the first Champion's tour event at Pebble Beach.

Christie Kerr got her third victory on the LPGA Tour this year at the State Farm Classic.

Luke Donald won the European Masters the same week he was chosen to the European Ryder Cup Team.

Tip of the week:

Tips for Using Visualization:

All great athletes know how to use visualization to enhance their performance. It is well known that the body cannot tell the difference between reality and imagination. Therefore using visualization to help your body perform is vital for peak performance.

For golf there are two ways you can visualize. The first is to play the shot in your mind in as much detail as possible from the moment of sweet contact to the ball flight, and after it hits the ground. The second is to actually see yourself swinging and hitting the ball.

Now you are not always going to get the result you visualize, but studies show that if you can keep extraneous mental activity out of the way, the body will create the result you are looking for. This of course is the difficult and this ebook on self hypnosis for golf can help you achieve it.
